Depersonalization, it looks like a horror movie or science fiction phenomenon, yet it is reality. It is a disorder that consists of persistent or recurring feeling of being detached from one's body or mental processes. It manifests itself in this way, and is often associated with the perception of being an external observer of one's life. As if we were filmmakers holding a camera, and we shot the film of our everyday life, watching you from outside. Sometimes so to speak, "As if you were seeing everything from above", but in the case of real depersonalization, we are talking about an actually problematic disorder, and not, "just to say".
The meaning of depersonalization, in a literal sense, is pretty easy to guess. Gets lost the concept of person, of oneself as a person, and you see yourself as any other person. It can happen as a result of a very important stressful event and is considered a form of dissociative disorder.
It is often not easy to diagnose, because sufferers can find some difficulty defining symptoms and describing one's emotions. Sometimes also because the feelings that depersonalization causes, make you feel the fear of going crazy and this only makes it more difficult to open up and tell what you are feeling.
A difference between depersonalization and disorders classified as psychotic lies in the awareness of the sufferer. Those who suffer from this problem are very aware of what is happening to them and he knows that the experiences of estrangement are not real.
The easiest symptom to associate with depersonalization and the idea of not being inside your body and in the context in which we live but to assist you as a external observer and often transparent. There traditional cognitive behavioral therapy (TCC) it is also effective for the treatment of depersonalization, drug therapy could also be needed.
